Our Wedding

From strangers, to co-workers, to best friends, to lovers. It truly is a rom-com story for the ages. (Just like how Alexa had always pictured it) Will &amp; Alexa started as "just co-workers", to "just friends" to... eventually... head over heels in love. With some back and forth, a few twists and turns, and a passionate kiss that changed everything, they realized this was way more than a friendship. Will and Alexa would go on dates, hang out after work to get drinks, text all day long, have deep, long talks, and even go on double dates with other couples. Basically, do everything married people do, but never call it what it was. (blame Alexa for that) It wasn't till they went on a double date to the Rosemont ice rink (where Will later proposed) that Alexa realized she could be her silliest, most insanely crazy, and authentic self with Will, and that was the night everything changed. Alexa realized she was in love with Will and never looked back. Alexa confessed her love for Will a few days later, and the rest is history.---------------------------------------------------------------------------Our story is one to laugh at, cry over, and definitely cringe through (iykyk)—but it’s ours. A story meant for the books, and one neither of us would trade for anything in the world.

Will &amp; I will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, in hopes of spending even more quality time with everyone who has made it a point to support us on our most important day. The Hilton Garden Inn has beautiful, renovated rooms, a pool, a hot tub, and a bar/ breakfast spot. The Hilton Garden Inn is also within walking distance (literally 2 minutes) from two other hotels in the area (Courtyard by Marriott Rockford/Fairfield Inn &amp; Suites by Marriott), and is only 20 minutes from the venue. Disclosure: We can only reserve 10 rooms at a time in our designated room block. If you go to reserve a room block and do not see any options available, we ask you to reach out to one of us (the bride or groom) to let us know that more rooms need to be requested, and we will make sure that is accommodated for. Anderson Japanese Garden is an absolutely gorgeous and romantic place to go explore, walk around, and immerse yourself in beautiful scenery. Will &amp; I went here 2 years ago, and it was the first time we pictured ourselves getting married. Check the website for classes or events they often host. Great for a family activity, or you and your significant other! Maybe we will see you there!

CherryVale Mall, located in Rockford, IL, features Bergner's, Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, and a Food Court. The District at CherryVale offers stores such as Chico's, Talbot's, and Coldwater Creek. Great place to do some retail therapy, or pick up any last-minute wardrobe items!

It has an outdoor park complete with a dinosaur dig pit, sandbox, swings, slides, echo tubes, climbing structure, water play area, Secret Garden and more. The museum has garnered local, state and national recognition as one of the top children's museums in the country." This would be such a cool place to take your kids or go on a family excursion!
